Wow thats crazy. I'm still wondering though, why South Eugene? Does he want to be a Duck now? I'm just wondering why of all places he transferred to a HS in Oregon's backyard.

Wow, sorry I doubted you. I really thought it would be a player who had stated he likes the ducks or was a commit. He must have been trying to throw us off the whole time to his intrest in UO. Who the SWC just keeps getting better this year.

Said rumor is true, been in the works for a while. He will play at South Eugene. This does not mean he is a duck, he still favors Cal. However this gives Oregon a lot of help.

Why did he pick South Eugene over Sheldon? South Eugene won their first game since 2007 and they only won due to Gresham not being able to get their lights back on.

Wow that is amazing would transfer to South Eugene. I agree it helps the ducks in recruiting him but I also think Cal is still in the running. When you consider the climate of the two it is somewhat similar. A big help in landing him now.. we just have to persuade him to come to Oregon.. instead of Cal.

South has shown willingness to work with transfers from out of the area for years, in multiple sports.

How does the cost of living in Eugene compare to the Bay area? That may have been a factor.

It should be interesting to see what he brings to the table, up close and personal.

Maybe getting the opportunity to play could earn him a 5th *.

Not a done deal either BTW, he may not play and may just go back home. FYI.

From North Carolina to Oregon I dont get why? Does he have family out here or is his family packing up and moving across the country with him?
