Sad news for Arizona
Perhpas one of the nations best Tight ends.. is now out for the year according to ESPN. I can only guess is due to an injury. Something we as duck fans know a lot about I would never wish it on anybody except maybe the Huskies.. or USC. I do feel sorry for them losing such a great tight end.

Re: Sad news for Arizona State
Are you thinking of TE Rob Gronkowski, for Arizona?
Thought I heard he will possibly redshirt this year.

I didn't think he could redshirt since he played already this year. I can't remember where I heard that, but it was mentioned today.Greydrake wrote:Are you thinking of TE Rob Gronkowski, for Arizona?

Who is Arizona State's TE? I don't think you have the right team.

EDIT:
''Arizona's offensive woes don't figure to get any easier with the loss of tight end Rob Gronkowski. He did not travel with the Wildcats because of a strained back, and Stoops said after the game that the third-team All-American won't play all season.''

ESPN confirmed Gronkowski out for the rest of the year. I believe they said he has a back injury.chump01284 wrote:if its arizona's TE, that dude had big game against us last year?

Re: Sad news for Arizona
To bad, he is a special talent and could be a big time TE at the next level.
What's even worse is that someone messed up and told Masoli it was Dickson who was out for the year.

No he injured it weeks prior to opening day weight lifting and has not played this season. Supposedly undergoing surgery in the next couple of weeks.MFRDuckFan wrote:I didn't think he could redshirt since he played already this year. Hope Gronkowski has a successful recovery... It is entirely possible for an injury such as this to linger, in spite of surgery, and end a promising career.

Its gonna hurt Arizona's chances to win games. This will help Oregon when play them down there but I still would not wish it upon anybody.

Brutal. That guy is a beast. He almost single-handedly brought Arizona back against the Ducks last year.
I always hate to see big injuries to players.

Wow this sucks, Rob is a beast, it's a shame he's out for the entire season.
Now if only we could utilize Ed Dickson like Arizona does with Rob G...
