Talanoa Hufanga cut his top 10 list down to 6 tonight on Andrew Nemec's recruiting show. Down to Oregon, USC, UCLA, Utah, Nebraska, and Michigan. OSU, Alabama, Washington, and Notre Dame are the cut schools.

Two pieces of good news: Oregon still on and Poodles are off.

Hopefully he wants to stay in the PNW.

I can't see him going to: UCLA, Utah or Nebraska. I have no real inside knowledge but I had heard rumblings that Bama was the choice if he wanted to go far away. With them cut, I think Michigan would be the top choice if he wanted a strong defensive school that has a national presence.

I just hope he visits USC sooner rather than later. It's hard for cold weather kids to turn down USC when they visit in January and the weather is still nice.

In the interview w/ Andrew Nemec, Hufanga said his visit to sc will be in early December.

UCLA was a favorite, perhaps on the very top, early in the process. No idea how it's moved around, but I feel pretty comfortable saying the top 3 are Oregon, USC, and UCLA in some order.

We would of NEVER had a shot at this kid with the OLD coaching staff. Really like our chances with Coach Joe staying in his ear. The one advantage that the Ducks have is that he'd prefer to be closer to his family so that they can ALL watch him play. Nothing better than a homemade POLY meal.....and he won't get that in Michigan!
Malo lelei toko....ofa atu!

No inside knowledge but think USC is probably going to get him. Just a hunch.

going to be hard to commit to UCLA when they have a whole new staff.

Mora has a huge buyout. I don't think he is going anywhere.
