Sounds like a decent chance for Hall, doubtful for Tepa.

Sounds like they both loved it. Hall could be a Duck soon!!!! One thing that stands out when all recruits talk about their trip to Eugene is the campus, the facilities, etc. I wonder what it is that Oregon is missing that is keeping more guys from committing to the Ducks?

Location, academics(when compared to Stanford, Cal, UCLA), mostly caucasian.

Location includes weather and distance, and both are usually cons for us. And school prestige can hurt us when we go against USC, tOSU, Mich, etc. And we're not really a school who churns out NFL players, though we do have some in the big leagues.

I can understand losing out to the big name programs like USC, Florida, tOSU, etc. but to lose a guy like Phillipp to the Beavers is crazy. I guess we lose most of the guys we go after to bigger programs, so once in awhile losing one to a school like Oregon State, Utah, Boise State, etc. is going to happen. Boyd and Brown could be the turning point to more guys in the future picking the Ducks over the Michigan's, Oklahoma's, Texas's, etc.

Yeah, the Phillipp thing is a little startling. Maybe it had to do with early PT? We do have a very young and talented group of big guys already

recruits always have good stuff to say about oregon... it is strange that we don't land them more often
