Sounds likely. Oregon is looking to only take one RB this class. RB Taron Madison is one of our top prospects and plans on visiting in the next month or two and is aware that the coaching staff is taking one RB and it's ona first come, first serve basis (247).

Why only one back and why go all in on such a low rated guy? Yes, I know stars aren't everything but this seems like a strange move.

Who says they are all in on one guy?

I doubt we only take one RB, unless we strike out on prospects that are scholarship worthy. Maybe if the staff decides they have two legit Pac-12 starters on our roster from among Felix, Verdell, Cyrus, Elliott or Dye. Get the best players possible, keep position balance, but if you can get high four-stars you have to take them.
For example, I doubt they would turn down Austin Jones or Sean Dollars if they can get both.

We aren't. We are going after multiple dudes, but they know that room is short, so I'd imagine we'd have a RB commit before the summer.

Totally. Plus there are guys that can play multiple positions, or even defense. TJ McDaniel, who just recently visited, is a good example of that.

ATH Giles Jackson is also visiting this weekend.

Sounds like both Oregon and OSU will be getting lots of visitors due to a 7-on-7 tournament up in Portland this weekend.

Don't to be a downer, but I feel like most of such visitors don't really get a good look at Oregon and little comes out of it.
It's a proximity visit, since they are already in Portland. But hopefully there's some dudes (Like Austin Jones) who have legit interest in Oregon who are visiting.

Another guy visiting is 4* CB Isaiah Rutherford, who comes from the same TMP Elite 7v7 team as Crocker and Webb. He's spoken highly of Oregon and said in an interview that he's in near daily communication with Cristobal, Donte Williams, and Heyward.

Per DT, it looks like #2 pro-style QB Grant Gunnells was seen walking onto the practice field today with Oregon OC Marcus Arroyo.

Austin Jones put out a top-5: Oregon, UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Utah.
The scuttlebutt is that he's all Stanford. With Stanford's admissions turning down 4-stars in the past (first one I thought of was David Long, who is a stud at Michigan) it's far from a done deal.
I'm not sure if Jayvaun Wilson is coming as a RB, but we could really use another one to pair with Dollars.
As a bonus, no Washington in his top-5. That Napoleon Kauffman connection isn't working. Also, former O'Dowd player and one time Duck prospect LB Milo Eiffler left the Washington program.
