Penky26 wrote:My daughter has gone through her 9th brain surgery now and is about to have her 10th in september. The reason I am reaching out is I actually was able to get in contact with Deforest Buckner who sent me a game used Oregon jersey to try and sell to raise funds for my daughter.

Here is the link to the jersey online, which obviously I am willing to take what I can get for it:

Here is my daughter's new link as well as any support from my Oregon community would be appreciated:

From our friend Penky26! Really awesome that Buckner did this, so if anyone is willing to help out, please do!!!

Man, if I only had the means... It's frustrating to watch a child, anyone's child, suffer, and not be able to help. Prayers and good wishes are great, and I believe they can help, but tangibles like being able to handle the food budget, pay the doctor and hospital bills, and a hundred other things, plus be there for support for your child can be a crushing burden.

My daughter had her thyroid completely removed last Thursday, due to cancer. Add in my wife's own ocular melanoma and breast cancer, and my skin cancer in the last three years, it wears down your spirit.

Thankfully, we were able to handle it financially, but not everyone has those albeit finite resources.

Good Luck, Penky... Give your your precious daughter all the hugs and support you can!
