He didnt flip, this has to be the biggest spin job in OLive history. UO told him they wouldn't let him sign, but I guess OSU doesn't care about character.

Flip is a pretty hyperbolic way to describe this. UO pulled his offer. There are just too many questions still lingering about this kid’s involvement with the basketball episode.

Typical Nemec move to prop up an in-state kid by selectively omitting important details and then waiting until the comment section to correct it.

Considering Oregon pulled the offer because of how uncomfortable with the situation they were, I'd say it was probably best for both sides to go their separate ways.

Completely agree! They pulled the offer because of the potential PR hit. It really was best for both sides.

Either way, saying “flips” to osu is still misleading. Fact is Oregon yanked his offer.
