interesting timing with Arroyo in Seattle today

I'm not one to get excited about recruits until they sign on the dotted line, but I wouldn't mind seeing the next great QB in Eugene. Here's a decent link,

Another good article. Hes pretty athletic, 4.7 40 and has decent hops.

Figure he would've been a lock to be a dawg since his dad is a Husky great, but they already have Dylan Morris for 2019, not to mention Jacob Eason transferring from UGA, and Sirmon/Yankoff for 2018.

Looking forward to getting up first hand look at him this season as we host Mount Si week 2.

Sounds like he is close to being a Duck.

Looks like he is pretty low rated 3 Star. Admittedly haven’t watched film on him. Is he vastly under rated or have we struck out on other top targets?

I was wondering the exact same thing. Well next year we will have 2 QBs on our roster. JR Burmeister and FR/SO Shough (depending if he redshirts or not).

I would think we would only go after 1 QB, but maybe with Herbert likely leaving early, we end up going for two guys?

What is going on with Michael Johnson Jr's recruitment?? I always read that he's around, but never read about his interest in the Ducks.

Someone told me that as high school QBs go, Michael Johnson is not a great high school QB. I don't know if they really had knowledge and/or inside information on this or that they just thought they had good information, but really didn't.

If the person is correct, perhaps the Ducks are looking to take him but are also looking elsewhere because they don't have full confidence in his abilities. Or, perhaps they like what they see, but are not confident in getting him.

Anyone have knowledge about this? Or does anyone have a novice opinion after watching him perform? I have not seen him play so I really have no opinion. If he is a legit D1 talent, I certainly hope we get him. Thoughts?

247 lists 27 offers, including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Nebraska, etc. The offers come from programs that know a bit about QB performance so I assume he he some talent. Who knows what the dynamics are in his relationship with Oregon.
