Eugene TV station KVAL is saying that Curtis White has been invited to play in the US Army All-American Game. That's a big-time honor for him and shows how good of a recruit he is. You don't see a lot of players from Oregon in that game.

Only a handful of guys from Oregon have played in it. Derek Anderson, Ndamukong Suh, Myles Wade, and Ethan Johnson are it. He and Owa will probably be invited for this class and I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Brennan Scarlett and Colt Lyerla ended up making it to that game too. The talent level in the state is seemingly getting better and better since the turn of the millennium (more so within the past 3 years).

I'm pretty sure their where some guys in the 90's who played in the AAG. I think the WR from Willamette (can't remember his name, but he went to Notre Dame before transferring back) was invited to the game. The kid was supper fast, and a great WR, but he could never get his head on strait in college. Remember his mom and sister beat up some kid in the stands at a basketball game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Owa gets invited to the Army game or the Under Armour All-American Game.

The Army AAG is the oldest of the bunch and it started in 2001.
