It's 37 minutes and covers a lot of ground, but what I found most interesting starts at about the 11:50 mark. He talks about the drastic recruiting approach differences between the Helfrich staff and this staff. He also talks a lot about the recent commits as well as the upcoming SNL prime visitors.
I didn't post this to start a Helfrich bashing thread. I think it just magnifies how a staff that had been together for such a long time grew complacent with their recent success and failed to adapt to the new social media landscape that was growing by the minute.

Yeah, the former staff had grown used to recruiting like they always had. But now it was Twitter, Instagram, and probably just many more hours a day, day after day, on recruiting then they were comfortable withpdxduck wrote:It's 37 minutes and covers a lot of ground, but what I found most interesting starts at about the 11:50 mark. I noticed him going off about Frost, calling him a liar that you just have to put more work into the recruiting world

Well Frost did complain on more than one occasion how hard it was to recruit to Oregon. I think he was in the comfort zone with the rest of the staff that an Oregon offer was something special and kids should just appreciate that they got the offer. I haven't paid too much attention, but I'll be interested to see how his recruiting style is at Nebraska.thomas time wrote:I noticed him going off about Frost, calling him a liar that you just have to put more work into the recruiting world
With MC's staff they offer a lot more kids but create a sense of urgency that if you're interested in Oregon you had better commit sooner rather than later if you want one of the open spots. And that urgency is fed constantly by Twitter posts of kids posting their pics of visits and the coaches feeds showing them always on the trail looking for players.
