George Uko to visit

From Greg Biggins' recruiting blog:

Defensive lineman George Uko (Chino, Calif./Don Lugo) has been close to making his college commitment several different times this year. The tackle has put off the decision for various reasons, but has now decided on a firm announcement date.

"I just got selected to the Under Armour All-American game (January 2) and I'm going to make my announcement there," Uko said. "I'm pretty excited about it and looking forward to competing out there.

"I'll still be able to get in all my visits in and I just have one more to set right now. Oregon is (Nov. 13) when they play Arizona State and USC is set for (Nov. 27) when they host UCLA.

"LSU just offered me last week and I'm going to set a visit there as well. Oklahoma is probably out right now. I've already been to Cal and that was a great trip. USC is my leader right now, but I'm going to take my visits still and see where the best fit for me is, both football wise and socially as well."

I am sure he will end up at USC but it would be good to see our hat on the table when he picks just for additional exposure, similar to the last 2 seasons with Tyrelle Pryor and Bryce Brown, it sucks we didn't get them but Oregon receieved a lot of exposure from them.

Sounding like a USC lock.
