"The north Alabama program has won games emphatically thus far on the year, led by and explosive offense that has averaged more than 60 points per game. The catalyst of the group is an emerging senior running back prospect who has nearly hit the 1,000-yard mark in Lee Witherspoon."

"Witherspoon's size, speed, athleticism and ball skills could lead to looks in the return game, elsewhere on offense at wide receiver or on defense at cornerback. He has flashed in all three phases this fall."

"He has registered big run after big run through the four games, with 994 yards on just 39 carries, good for a whopping 25 yards per carry. Nearly half of his early carries, 17 of the 39, have gone for touchdowns. Witherspoon's latest effort came Friday against Madison (Ala.) St. John Paul, where AL.com tallied his evening at 13 carries for 359 yards and five scores."

"The style he plays with could be a fit at his dream school."

"Oregon Ducks," he said. "I like the way they run the offense."

Hook him up as an athlete, and play him where he fits?

It's tough because Oregon recruits skill position players at a very high level. If we turned down Giles Jackson, then I don't see this happening.

Appears his high school is about the same size as La Pine High. Not sure of the level of his competition.

Just what are you saying about the Hawks huh? Their all-time leading passer likes to wear his t-shirts 2 sizes too small, so what.
