Has anyone read anything about his trip? Whether he liked it? What his impression was? Do we have a chance?

Read he had a really good trip but will be a tough pull. Not sure if it’s true or not but over on ScoopDuck, QB11 (aka Akili Smith) said his parents hadn’t been on a plane before this trip.

Seems like a situation where you've got to focus on the future goals of making it to the league, getting a degree etc moreso than anything else unless it really all comes down to offering his older brother or not.

I haven't been over to those forums in a long, long time, but QB11 isn't Akili. JHop brings QB11 onto his podcast and it seems like he's a local coach, younger guy.

Unless the Ducks pick up Ika, it looks like another year of being a FatMac injury away from really hurting on defense. Maybe Popo will turn the corner.

Are you saying that the two DT's that are already committed are not serviceable? Or do you just mean that Ika is the only recruit who could contribute next season?

Two things - both play over the tackle as DEs in high school rather than in the center as a DT/NT. Second, I don't think either is an immediate impact player as a true freshman (maybe Ware-Hudson, but definitely not Poti). That is not to say that they can't or won't be good players in their careers, I'm just talking 2019.
