Criddell sets commitment date/time (picks Oklahoma)
While he had recently said he'd hold off signing until February, it looks like Jeremiah Criddell will be committing and signing tomorrow in a ceremony at Mater Dei HS. The school lists said ceremony as starting at 1 PM but Greg Biggins is saying Criddell's announcement will happen in the morning.

All signs point toward an Oregon recommitment but sometimes you never know with HS recruits.chapelhillduck wrote:That has to be good for us, no?

Re: Criddell sets commitment date/time
This has been such a weird recruitment. We've known about Criddell since he was a HS sophomore, and we were always the favorite. Dollars and him transfer to MD, commit together while trolling Willie Taggart. Then Criddell starts to waiver and visits the Okies. Then he's 100% solid to Oregon. Takes a trip to Eugene. Then de-committs. Then gets suspended for the state title game. Then visits Eugene again. And now it's looking like he's coming back.
Sometimes I forget these are kids and they handle this stuff way different from how old men like us would.

Nemec is saying he is confident Criddell is picking Oklahoma. I like Oregon's chances now. LOL

I just saw Nemec's prediction, and he's been one of the guys able to get interviews with Criddell so that's an interesting development. Biggins crystal balled Quandre Mosley to us, not sure if those are mutually exclusive.damascusduck wrote:Nemec is saying he is confident Criddell is picking Oklahoma. I like Oregon's chances now. LOL

Imo criddell is not a big deal. Would prefer to have him in this class but Ika, Steel and Robinson are the big dawgs

So much for him wanting to play with Dollars in college. i bet Oregon now really wants Mosely to commit today.

Normally I don’t question a high schooler’s decision but this one I will, I get not going to Oregon, but going to Oklahoma and their awful defense? That just seems like a big mistake to me.

Immediate playing time? His recruitment and SR season have been weird so I'm just going to move on from him.OregonFan4Life wrote:Normally I don’t question a high schooler’s decision but this one I will, I get not going to Oregon, but going to Oklahoma and their awful defense? What good is immediate playing time if you won’t get noticed because of how bad the defense is? Oh well, like you said, this has been a weird process, while he’s a talented kid it’s not the worst thing to lose out on a recruit that’s been all over the place like him.greenyellow wrote:Immediate playing time? Per JHop, right before he went on ESPN, he told our coaches he was coming here.

Odd. Getting Mosely would help offset his loss.Duck24 wrote:Per JHop, right before he went on ESPN, he told our coaches he was coming here.
