Karrington Armstrong?

I notice that Karrington Armstrong is listed on Scout as a DT and on Rivals as an OG. Does anyone have any good info about what position he might play at Oregon?

I would love to see us get two HS DT's in this class and hopefully be able to RS both or one next year and the other the year after. With the way our recruiting and admissions have been going having a couple guys that could play in a pinch, be quality guys to rotate in to spell the starters, or even earn starting spots themselves would seem like a huge goal for us right now.

I wonder if the coaches are going to wait and see how we do with Brown and maybe Tjong-A-Tjoe or Sione Tuihalamaka before deciding for sure where Armstrong plays?

We have two HS DE's. Now let's finish our D-Line of the future with two HS DT's.

That's a good thought. I would think the staff would move him over to DT if needed as he is a solid one. However he is coming in at og right now. If we don't bring anyone else in we might switch him.

Taylor Hart might start out at Oregon as a de but my guess he ends up a DT when he's done. He is 6'6 and 265 right now with a very good frame to put on more weight. By the time he is a junior he could be tipping in close to 300

Armstrong is and always had been an OL recruit for Oregon.

Perhaps he has the chance to move, but he projects better as a guard. Also, don't be so picky with DL commits. The move from DE to DT is a possibility for at least one of the commits I know of.

EDIT- Aye mops, always quick on the draw.
