Anyone hearing?

Does anybody have a link to the official NCAA transfer portal? I remember seeing it posted in here a while back but I'm having trouble finding it now. This would definitely suck to lose Eaford as I think we'd heard good things about him during Spring practice. Hopefully he doesn't but if he does, I wouldn't be complaining if his spot was filled with Steele.

Unless you're an athlete, coach, or school administrator, you won't be able to access the transfer portal.

I wonder what that means for Brandon Dorlus.

Ya that's really random. Rarely before June do you hear about an incoming recruit entering the portal (without any scandal, coaching change, or personal issues).

From reading on scoopduck, gemon posted a Snapchat about wanting to go home to his son. Nothing official.

My opinion, it could just be him saying he's going home for summer break.

Man, I’m glad we got him but crazy he would choose to be 3000 miles away from his son for school

Jhop reporting he told coaches last night he is staying.

I feel for the guy. I can't imagine being that far away. He's clearly a tougher person than me.

Hopefully, he'll be able to work out a way to have his family near and still reach his goals. Good luck to him whatever the decision.

That would make sense. I don't know why he'd want to be so far away from his child..

I’m in my early 30s, no kids, living a yuppie life - I can’t imagine having a kid at 18. I can barely imagine it now. So I can’t empathize, but I feel for the guy.

Same reason Jamal Elliott left. Avantae Williams is a jr in HS and already has two kids. Some guys have made it work. VA and Charles Nelson came to mind.

I hope Ge’mon stays. I was surprisingly impressed with his performance in the spring game. Wide kid that can really move.

So, any news here, or can we put this to rest? With the recent addition of Chris Steele, our 2019 D recruiting is pretty insane, just really hope we're not in danger of losing gemon Eaford .

Granted, this is only one class, but that looks like a pretty dam good D on paper, no?

Latest news was that some of the coaches talked to him and we're good for now.

This class is DIRTY. More top end defensive talent than we've ever seen at Oregon.
