Tigers vs Tigers

It's #9 Auburn Tigers @ #2 LSU Tigers. A win for #9 is the start of chaos, especially with Tua ailing in Tuscaloosa. Current, LSU -10.5

No, but if LSU loses then they both have a loss and still have to play bama which means they both likely have two losses. Also we succeed as auburn succeedssquintsdd wrote:I'll be rooting got an LSU win. There is no way Oregon jumps either one if Auburn wins
If Auburn were to win I don't see the committee giving Oregon the edge, even if they all have 2 losses. The only way I see that happening is if Utah manages to climb into the top 10 when the pac12 championship rolls around. I just look at Georgia's bad loss and the voters inability to drop them below Oregon. The SEC gets huge favoritism. There's still plenty of games left though, so we'll see what happens.lukeyrid13 wrote:No, but if LSU loses then they both have a loss and still have to play bama which means they both likely have two losses. Normally I would agree, but there are currently 5 SEC teams ahead of Oregon. If Auburn wins today they will get a major bump, while lsu won't drop more than a couple of spots. That will make it tough to get ahead of either one if they even if they have 2 losses.a loss by Auburn today will allow Oregon to jump them. Florida and Georgia play next week, so we'll jump one of them next week hopefully. The winner of that game will end up in the SEC championship game against lsu or Alabama and likely lose, giving Oregon the chance to jump them again. Unless there is complete chaos in the SEC I see the committee sending 2 of them to the playoffs.Phalanx wrote:With a possible playoff berth on the line, it seems obvious that duck fans would want our only loss to be to as high a ranked team as possible, our affinity for Bud notwithstanding. Go Auburn.
I think it'd really help us if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl and gives little red a 2nd loss. I don't want to see y'all first in the playoff though - we've turned into bizzarro versions of each other from a decade agoBud Lee wrote:I honestly see the Ducks best path to the playoffs is LSU beating Bama and beating Utah in the championship game. Assuming that both the Ducks and Utah don't lose anymore. Oklahoma's lost this weekend was huge. If AU can muster up a win against Bama it will be a lock assuming the rest happens.
