I'm struggling with this one. I would like to see Utah look beatable for Oregon, if or when we play them, but I always like seeing Washington lose. I think I'm going to go against my long held hate and root for Washington on Saturday.

Our best chances at a playoff bid is winning out and playing a Top 7-8 ranked Utah team for the Pac-12 title. We need Utah to keep winning.

The only way I would ever want Washington to win is if it helps us. But this is an easy call since we want a top-10 Utah. Plus, Petersen being 5-4 would be good news on the recruiting trail with 2021 guys.

There are a ton of 4 & 5 star guys in the next few years in the state of Washington. If we can be a top 10 team and UW falls back to middle of the PAC, that can only help us. Plus it helps us in the case we start a disastrous freefall, if Utah wins, we could lose out and still win the North and finish ahead of UW.

Plus we probably don't want to end up playing USC twice, next week and then in the conference finals if they finish ahead of Utah. Not that USC is better than Utah, but just for entertainment value it would be nice to face a different team later.

Never root for uw unless there's a clear reason why. Even then, it's a last resort.

This really is easy. How can be ever root for uw, especially when they probably will be crushed.

Really? A true duck fan roots against the fussies every game. Even against the little sisters up Hwy 99. Unless the beevies, god forbid, are tied with us in the standings or for a bowl bid. Rhetorical question.

Go rinse your mouth out with soap child. Anyone who had to sit in Autzen with 15-20,000 purple pussies back in the day and put up with their condescending bullshit and their band playing while we were on offense, not to mention the insufferable comments on the way out to the parking lot.
