There is another step now that players can take. Nick Bosa, DE at tOSU was injured early last season and chose to quit; to heal & get ready for the draft. Turns out it was a good move as he was the second pick, behind Kyler Murray. Bosa was injured. But in the future players might decide to cut the risk, with out being injured, early in the season. I’m curious to see how profiting off a likeness changes this. I get that the decision is often made on the face of future earning potential, and that will still outweigh what they make in college, but they may not feel as much pressure financially as a result of money earned in college. Who knows? It might not change a thing, just thinking aloud.
