I've heard LSU fans are the worst, but don't let Bud know I said that. I don't have any first-hand experience with Tiger fans.
I was at that game and also at the 2011 LSU game in Cowboys Stadium. LSU fans are by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with, they were racist, vulgar, and just plain rude. Ohio St fans were actually great I thought, but I heard they got worse after Urban Meyer took over.

As for the game, certainly can’t overlook the season opener against NDSU. Sure they’re FCS but they’re still a solid team and if Oregon doesn’t prepare it could be a close one. I’m hoping Oregon comes out strong for that one.

It also depends alot on who we have coming back. Would love to see scott return.
Don't worry, I'll still be on this forum!

I know you're being facetious, but I like you regardless. Ha!

My dream scenario is that NDSU beats Oregon. Then Oregon beats tOSU the next week. Then both Oregon and Ohio State finish their regular seasons without another loss.

Inconceivable? Hmm... Well, like I said. It's my dream scenario.

Carry on here. Either way, I'll be pulling for Oregon against Ohio State.

Were you at the 2011 LSU game in Texas? I've been to Husky Stadium and I dealt with OSU fans at the 2011 Rose Bowl, neither were near as bad as those LSU fans. They were vulgar, racist, violent, and rude. I was just trying to walk back to my car after the game with the other people I was with and we were harassed so much by LSU fans, we weren't saying a word, just walking back to the car. From my experience, LSU fans were by far the worst and no other fanbase even comes close.

Sorry Bud.

Now that the dust has seemingly settled, it appears that Ohio State will have just 3 early entries into the NFL Draft:

Chase Young, Edge Rusher
JK Dobbins, Running Back
Jeff Okudah, Cornerback

Each guy has an argument that they are the best in the country at their position, so it's good for the Ducks that they'll be moving on.

Also leaving via graduation:

Jonah Jackson, OL (second team Big Ten)
Brandon Bowen, OL (third team Big Ten) [Note: 3/5 of starting line returns; all three returners were all-Big Ten]
Jordan Fuller, Safety (first team Big Ten)
Malik Harrison, Linebacker (second team Big Ten)
Damon Arnette, Cornerback (second team Big Ten)
Davon Hamilton, DT (third team Big Ten)

So that's 9 NFL-ish caliber guys leaving. At first glance, it appears their strengths in terms of returners are going to be Quarterback and Offensive Line, which is a great place to start for any team. After those positions, we'll see how well tOSU reloads, but there's almost assuredly talent.

I agree 100% with Fan4Life. LSU the worst! I was also at that game. Had three grossly overweight asshole LSU guys behind us telling to the backs of our heads, screaming F the ducks, being nasty and vulgar the whole game, even when winning, with our wives there to witness. Then again back at the hotel more of the same and I have been to husky stadium a million times and other stadiums as well. Nasty. I’ll also say that the Wisconsin fans are hands down the nicest fans of all time. Shocked by their hospitality at the Rose Bowl this year. What a massive difference.

I have family that graduated from Ohio State. Great football played there. I question everything else about them.

If the Ducks are 0-1 this game will rise to a higher intensity level and Ohio State will be under a FOOTBALL ALERT.

Thats out-of-line homerism. I would look for Ohio State -11. Something like 34-23. The Ducks have a chance thats for sure.
