3 5 star recruits, unheard of for Oregon football!!

Meanwhile, Savell Smalls tumbled in the Rivals100. Fell 36 spots to 48th overall. Disappointing week of practices at one of the All America games. Butterfield also moved up, to 91st overall.

Rivals released the rest of their updated Rivals250:

Justin Flowe, down 4 to 8th.

Noah Sewell, up 6 to 10th.

Dontae Manning, up 154 to 61st.

Jay Butterfield, down 9 to 91st.

Kris Hutson, down 1 to 100th. Interestingly Johnny Wilson fell 14 to 103rd.

Jonathan Dennis, up 1 to 192nd.

Luke Hill, down 102 (!) to 211th. Supposedly had a bad week at the Poly Bowl.

Others of note: Avantae Williams up 14 to 40th, Malachi Wideman up 39 to 56th, McKinley Jackson up 11 to 72nd, LV Bunkley-Shelton up 11 to 86th (hope we don't regret not pursuing him fully), Elijhad Badger down 6 to 131st.

DB Luke Hill

Hill looked good early and was my top DB following the first workout of the week. He had some discipline issues and missed the last two practices but was back in time for the game. As a prospect, there’s a lot to like about Hill. He has all the physical tools you’re looking for in a next level corner. He has a solid frame, good ball skills, both short area quickness and good long speed and plays with a nice physical edge in his game. Assuming his issues at the Poly Bowl were just a blip and not overriding character concerns, there is no reason why Hill won’t be very successful for the Ducks.

Rivals dropped Hill because of the disciplinary issue. He keeps his head straight and he'll be a good one. Dude competes.

Savell is raw in his technique and it shows against similar talent. Fusky fans expecting him to be Kayvon are going to be disappointed. That said, he's a physical 5*, no doubt, and could end up being a 1st rounder in the future with good development.
