VERY reliable source on Scout, an analyst has texts that Jackson is on board, just trying to work out all the final details. Several people are saying they hear the same thing.

I just got a text from his cousins sister in law on her mothers side twice removed saying not so fast...well I totally made that up but whatever.

Neal went with CK on the trip and detoured down to Alabama while CK went elsewhere. Sounds like they got Brian Jackson and the kid may be a bit underrated. With Leon's status appearing very iffy things might have opened right up for Brian.

From what everyone is saying Leon won't qualify so it appears it is instead of.

The kid had 161 tackles last year alone against very good competition so I don't think his height should be a huge concern. According to sources on educk, since his visit to UO he has gotten 3 more offers from SEC schools the kid could be a stud for us.

I like how we are bummed out on 3* HS prospects from across the country in a talent rich program that is excited about playing for our school. Yep, makes sense now.
Oh yeah, kid only had 161 tackles and 3 INT's in one of the toughest conferences in the country.

Should be interesting to compare the careers of Vaughn Telemaque and Brian Jackson. Telemaque will most likely be a FS so we'll see where Jackson ends up at UO.

His 40 time isn't that impressive. He is fine, but I hope this doesn't mean that both Leon and Harris don't qualify.

He seems like a fallback option. Sorry, I'm calling it like I see it. I don't have to get excited over every Oregon recruit. Get Boyd, Diante Jackson, Hall and a few others and we will be fine for this class.

isn't every player rater lower than #1 at his position in the country a fall back option?
