Oregon 8 Bethune - Cookman 0. Brooke Yanez gets the W, 5-0. Cid had a home run, stolen base & 2 RBI, McGowan 3 for 4, 3 RBI, Mya Felder 3 for 3, 3 RBI.
Oregon 7 Mississippi State 2. Dail gets W, 2-0. Cruse, 3 for 4, 3 runs. Oregon 10-0, Notre Dame tomorrow, (Friday).

5-1 Oregon over Notre Dame. It got tight when a home run by Notre Dame in the bottom of the 4th made it 2-1 Oregon. The Ducks got the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 5th, but were denied any more. Notre Dame didn't score in the bottom of the 5th. In the top of the 6th the bats came alive for then Ducks led by Haley Cruse and her 2 run triple, scoring ,Deijah Pangilinan & Jasmine Sievers, Cruse would score later on a ground out by Terra McGowan, and Rachel Cid ended the inning grounding out to second. Jordan Dail got the complete game W, now 3-0. She allowed 7 hits, but only 1 run, on then home run in the 4th, no walks, 3 strikeouts. Oregon now, 11-0. Idaho State later today, approximately, 5:30. #25, Northwestern, Saturday, 9:30 AM.

Ducks get the run-rule 13-0 victory in the 5th inning over Idaho State.

Ducks take the lead early and lead the Northwestern Wildcats 4-0 after 2. A 3 run shot makes it closer for the Wildcats in the 3rd. Ducks go down in the 4th and NW threatens, getting 2 on, until Yanez shuts it down with a strikeout. In bottom of of the 5th, Pangilinan gets double, and keeps on running and scores to make it 5-3 Oregon. NW goes down in the top of the 6th, Bunker leads off for the Ducks in the bottom of the 6th with a single, Carlson is hit by a pitch, Sievers lays down a bunt, advancing Bunker & Carlson. Pangilinan flies out, scoring, Bunker, Bowden strikes out to end the inning, Ducks lead, 6-3.

And from 2019-2022 she has outrecruited White and Texas. Love it. Most top players choose PAC-12 and SEC, except for OU. In fact, Miranda Elish's sister(#29) Madi is going to Arizona. Lombardi has a top 10 pitcher in each class. In 2022 she has Flo recruit #2, #16(#2 catcher), #18(#3 Pitcher). I know it's future and they could switch. Amazing!
I had a feeling people just had to be more patient and go into with an open mind.
Lombardi, coming from OU, just had stricter rules, and seemingly wanted the team to be more professional (not that they weren't before). Some teams are just like that, can't wait to see what happens here on out.
