With his commitment, the Flowes will be the 5th pair of siblings to have played for and/or recruited by Cristobal and his staff, joining the Dyes, Herberts, Faolius, and Sewells. It would have been the 6th had Kyron Ware-Hudson stayed committed.

Haha! Good point, but Lowe is definitely a bit on the smaller side for a 4 star LB.

He is. But at 6'1, he can RS and eat right and get on the right program. He can get to 220 by the time he's a RS fr. He plays with great instincts, hits hard and more importantly tackles well. He may never be a 1st round pick, but I bet he becomes a fan favorite before he leaves.

How is his speed? Could he potentially play Safety?

247 Sports lists his 40 time at 4.82 and his shuttle time is 4.41 but that is from February 2019. For comparison, Justin's 40 time was 4.68 and his shuttle time was 4.38

Our S&C staff can improve this massively. (in a non-Covid year...)

Love the pickup, younger brothers tend to be competitive. I was hesitant about the coaches bringing on the younger Dye, not from an athletic perspective but durability. I would have to think hard to come up with 5 college FB players with J. Flowe’s physique. If he were to loose anymore “baby fat” he would be a walking muscle fiber mannequin. Two off the top of my head are Maurice Jones Drew and Jonathan Stewart and I don’t remember if they looked that way as true fresh. Oregon got two freaky athletic LB last cycle and that is rare at any school.
