Ducks Attack Message Board Forum

The Ducks have sent him paperwork 3 times and then he goes dark. (I believe mom is apprehensive about the distance). Today is the last day he can sign to enroll this quarter.
I am curious what will happen.

Perkins sounds like a head case. I have a feeling that he won't make much of an impact if he joins the Ducks.

Probably evidence of just how hard up the ducks are right now for corners.

Cliff Harris and i disagree with the assertion that head cases can't be good corners.

I don't disagree that head cases can't be good corners, look at Jalen Ramsey. He just doesn't seem good enough to be worth the drama. I can't remember the last time we had a JUCO corner that was worth a scholarship. I'm guessing if he comes here he won't make much of a difference. I don't think he is anywhere close to as talented as Cliff Harris.

I'm not sure what evidence there is that he's a head case. I think the kid is wrestling with being in love with a school that's far away from his family, and they'd like him to stay closer to home. Given the current climate with Covid and all of that, he's not the first kid to suddenly want to be closer to family (happened plenty of times prior to Covid too). He'll figure out what's best for him, but they can definitely use the depth at corner.
