Position of need!

Dude is from Omaha, and apparently Nebraska is the main competition. Man, it would be nice to land another quality DB in this class.

Where are you seeing this? I’ve seen some people on Twitter saying the same. I’ve also seen some saying LSU, even though I thought it was us and Nebraska. Also, I wonder if this has any effect on Perkins. He’s a mystery right now.

After early signing day I wasn’t expecting too much more and now it’s looking like a solid chance of checking off the DB and RB needs with four star recruits that were far from expected? Dang.

This would be huge, do it!

Really hope he does end up choosing the Ducks. Secondary will be in a good position going forward and Oregon would be closing well with him, Cardwell and Moko if that’s the case.

When JHop says that, it's hard to tell whether that is true or it means the staff doesn't think they're going to get him.

Oregon currently has either 2 or a max of 3 spots left.

I tried my best to re-read the NCAA manual and chart the Ducks availability to sign 25+ and unless they received a waiver it’s not looking good.

Working off the knowledge that 2019-20 was capped at 25 since Devon Williams had to grayshirt to become an initial counter:
2019-20: 25 (full)
2020-21: 25 (full)
2021-22: 22 currently (most likely 23)

Why 23 for the current class? Because of Logan Sagapolu. The rule on those who go on a religious mission is that they either count for the year they signed (2019 for Logan) or for two years later (2021) and if they return early they can be counted towards that year (2020) or for the next one. It looks like Oregon used up all 25 slots for 2020 so they still could have taken Logan and the scholarship goes toward the next year, they couldn’t decline him because he signed an NLI that was binding for one year.

The only questions are:
* Can Oregon get an appeal for Chris Steele or Luke Hill? The tightening of the rule means its signed and whether they enrolled doesn’t matter. Steele signed an FAA and Hill an LOI.
* Did Jordan Happle transfer on scholarship? If he didn’t Oregon could have one more slot, making it 3 open spots.
