Take away runs off of stupid pitching mistakes and Oregon has a 1 run lead.

They’ve failed Oregon the last two games.

What I was going to say earlier before Yovan homered is that in any sport when there’s a tight game with lots of pressure situation I always take the southern teams over the west coast teams. They just raise their kids to be tougher in the south compared to the wear coast where kids are often coddled. I know that’s a weird theory most find dumb but I believe that’s one of the reason the south dominates sports.

You can just see tonight LSU has been composed while Oregon (outside of Yovan) has been rattled all game.

Commentators said Was lets his coaches coach. The pitching coach helped blow it. And Was should take a more hands on stance, it would seem.

Oregon will need a big inning to save their season.

Yikes. That was an awful 8th inning, sad way to lose if score stays the same.

Zavala with a one-out single. Now would be the time for Matthews to come up big.

Runners on the corners with one-out after another single. Need Kasevich to step up now.

Zavala scores on groundout and Boettcher advances to 2B. 2 outs and Hanoian is up to pinch hit. 9-8 LSU.

Hanoian gets an infield singled that advances Boettcher to 3B. Big at-bat for Novitske now.

Novitske flies out and Oregon's season ends. Tough finish to the year.

Can’t lie, Oregon choked, but still way better of a season than we all expected. Clean up the errors and pitching mistakes and who knows how far this team would’ve gone. I look forward to seeing what Wasikowski does in the future for Oregon baseball. I sure hope he carries this momentum into next year.

Congrats to the LSU posters on here, gosh I hate LSU.

It's going to be tough replacing Yovan, Matthews, and likely, Zavala.
