Brown has good stats but I don't care. My gawd they are all but meaningless with the way he plays.

I don’t understand Mario. He calls so much conservative stuff but then every week he try’s a 4th and 2 where he could have taken 3 points instead. Should be 14-10 right now. Stop going for it, you don’t have an explosive enough O to justify not taking points.

I agreed with him going for it given the situation. But the play call was poor.buckmarkduck wrote:I don’t understand Mario. This, plus wasn’t the ball just barely midfield? That would’ve been a 60+ yard field goal attempt. I know Lewis has improved drastically but that’s a dang big ask.thatbpguy wrote:I agreed with him going for it given the situation. What? It was at the 35. Lewis would have made that with ease. Not kicking it vs Stanford cost us that game.

We really can't go down 14+ at half.

Here comes the refs. Are they aware that the UCLA Oline is holding almost every play?

The pac 12 is focused on less called things. They don’t concern themselves with holding.

4th and 2 from the 34. That's a 51 yard field goal attempt. I'd go for the first down too.buckmarkduck wrote:OregonFan4Life wrote:This, plus wasn’t the ball just barely midfield? Big miss by the Bruins and a big opportunity for Brown and the offense to score here in spite of everything.
Definitely glad we get the ball to open the 3rd.

Threw it 4 yards over Redd's head.
