Cal is losing by 8 to San Diego in the 2nd half, they're projected to finish last for a reason.

Conference is 10-2. UW laughably losing. Remember when the coaches gave Hopkins the COY twice over Altman? What a joke awards are when they are voted on by people who hate your success.

Same thing happens to Mario. Total joke of an award.

One of my coworkers here in Portland is an NIU grad, and I told him that if his huskies beat the fuskies of washington, I'd grab him a beer. Absolutely worth it.

Colorado squeaking by Montana State is not a good look, nor are some of the other close calls like OSU over Portland State, but I think the conference earned a lot of credibility in the tournament last year and is going to reap the benefits early this season. If OSU beats UCLA, for example, nobody is going to remember the Portland State game.

#25 Virginia going down to Navy was awesome.

Arizona State just dropped a 1-pt game to UC-Riverside.

On a last second 3/4 court heave. But I have no love for Hurley. Good for UCRiverside.

That's a huge blow for ASU. Why do I feel like Washington might lose again tonight.

Because losing to Northern Illinois at home is a sign you might be one of the worst teams in D1.

I like that uw is going to be looking to for buyout money for BOTH the football and basketball coaches. Now, in football, I don't necessarily believe that money is as correlated with getting a good new coach as you might think (Mario got paid peanuts to start), but it definitely doesn't help.

Good work by UCLA to pull this game out. They had to fight to get it to overtime, but they got the quality win.

Ya nice win for UCLA,

Cal and OSU are both 1-2. Maybe our two bottom feeders this year?

Cal, Stanford, and Oregon State will all benefit from getting to play uw twice this season, otherwise they're looking terrible.

Teams with a chance for the tourney appear to be UCLA, Ducks, USC, Arizona and Wazzu. Colorado, Utah, and ASU might be competent (compared to the teams above), but don't look like tourney teams. If Vegas projected final standings, I would bet it would look like this:

UCLA
Oregon
USC
Arizona
Wash St
ASU
Utah
Colorado
Oregon State
Stanford
Cal
