Watched Houston play the other night. Very good team. Hope we’re ready or we might get boat races again.

Slow start again. If Altman can pull another rabbit out of his hat, this would be the year. He needs some magic.nogerO wrote:Watched Houston play the other night. Very good team. Hope we’re ready or we might get boat races again.

While its still early, I think I'm resetting my expectations towards watching development with an eye towards next season this year.Everythingsducky wrote:Slow start again. Our most dangerous teams have had strong veterans who had played together and that just doesn't seem to fit this team but next year.

I feel like this is a team full of solid role players and no stars and when that’s the case the offense productivity is lacking unless you have excellent ball movement and chemistry, which this team doesn’t have for obvious reasons. Given the new players and how much some players seem to struggle with passing and Court vision, I have a hard time seeing this being a tourney team by year’s end. Altman has proven me wrong many times so hopefully he does again.

Ducks just can’t throw it in the ocean, and simple turnovers are killing them. Surprised we are so many games into the season, and nobody can hit a simple jump shot consistently. Getting down by 20 at halftime is the norm with this team. Duck guard play is atrocious, and it starts and ends with Richardson.

Unfortunately with Richardson it’s not an issue of talent or skill but rather mentality. He’s very passive and lacks any sort of killer instinct. If he has the mentality of Pritchard he’d be a great player. I have a hard time seeing that changing since it’s been that way since his Freshman year.Everythingsducky wrote:Ducks just can’t throw it in the ocean, and simple turnovers are killing them. Man, this one is more embarrassing than BYU! Haven't seen games like this since Altman's first year coaching the Ducks.
Hope Will Richardson can figure it out soon. Clearly in his own head.
Only guy playing even decent this year is Eric Williams.

Glad I didn't have to spend money to go to Maui for this.

Probably the worst week of basketball from any Altman team that I can remember. Now is probably the best time for them to be getting home and playing a couple easier games.

BYU crushed the confidence out of this team. Then Altman's week of not being "soft" with them didn't bring it back. They don't trust each other to make a shot and are all try to do it on their own. We know what Richardson and Williams can do. The transfers may not be great but there is no way they are this bad. This team needs a mental jolt to get them going. Maybe some home cooking against some patsies can help them find their mojo.

It’s one thing to keep losing but it’s another thing to continually get absolutely demolished.

Yup, RIP Oregon basketball. Worst stretch of ball I’ve ever seen under DA.bellsduck wrote:Gonna be hard for this team to see the postseason
