I'd say just sit back and let things sort themselves out. Aranda's agent could be using us to get him a bigger contract. You never know.

What is the buzz with Dave Aranda? Any good links to tweets/rumors/etc? I just looked but don't see why folks are buzzing about this.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

He certainly could but he may also have legitmate interest. The Big 12 as a conference will be gone soon and he may want to get out while the gettin' is good.

He's yet to show he can hire a decent OC. Him bringing in Musgrave is a no go.
A good point.

Can't wait for an Oregon vs Baylor game before the home and home series and have it be called the "Dave Aranda bowl" in case he gets hired.

Also why did we schedule 3 consecutive Big 12 opponents?

Yeah, why not. After I called it twice yesterday before it was announced. But I'm not holding grudges.... oh no, not me...... after seeing 2 threads of mine taken down..... ;) ;) ;)

2 for me got zapped.
I felt unloved..... sniff, sniff....

I've read on multiple sites that his contract is up and Baylor is wanting to re-sign him. They say he's a pretty loyal dude. I wonder if $8m per year would make him unloyal...

He's coached at 4 different schools in 9 years. There's hope!

Sounds like Mullens began preparing for this a week ago. Arande was informed Oregon would be interested and it’s believed that’s why he hasn’t signed with Baylor.
