Kings/Bucks
Alain Digbeu For Henderson and Kings 99 1st (unprotected)
Deal was contingent on Kidd resigning…
Originally was before F/A but without Kidd, Kings pick would of looked like a top 5 pick. Now it’s still a lottery pick. But I’m sure he’ll find a way to make some moves…

Agree. I'm not making any real moves though. Just didn't think we were bad enough to tank with Kidd, and I didn't want to trade Kidd after looking around at the lack of scoring options at PG across the league.
I like Digbeu a lot. Scored a decent chunk efficiently for a good Bucks team. Think he's a nice young piece who fits the timeline who is a lot better than whoever we could have got with out pick anyway

Nice. I like.
Bucks accumulating assets while improving their tank this year, Kings basically replacing some of Spree’s scoring.

I like that the kings didn’t have to trade any of their 3 lotto picks but Bucks getting unprotected pick is nice too

Why would a known lotto pick be on the table?lukeyrid13 wrote:I like that the kings didn’t have to trade any of their 3 lotto picks but Bucks getting unprotected pick is nice too

Bucks said it would take 3 picks to get DigbeuCraig wrote:Why would a known lotto pick be on the table?lukeyrid13 wrote:I like that the kings didn’t have to trade any of their 3 lotto picks but Bucks getting unprotected pick is nice too
Not crazy to assume he would ask kings for at least one of their recent top picks

Asking for it doesnt make it a price worth payinglukeyrid13 wrote:Bucks said it would take 3 picks to get DigbeuCraig wrote:Why would a known lotto pick be on the table?lukeyrid13 wrote:I like that the kings didn’t have to trade any of their 3 lotto picks but Bucks getting unprotected pick is nice too

^ I agree
I suppose my comment should have been I’m surprised the bucks reduced their price so quickly

Digbeu was amazing last year. +2 in scoring on his first TC. If he gets another +2 your talking about Michael Jordan scoring with no defense.lukeyrid13 wrote:^ I agree

Kings wanted to do deal before Kidd resigned, but we made sure with Ownage and he said to wait until Kidd resigned. I more less did it cause I want to see how he produces with a point guard

The initial price for Dig was outrageous so I guess Im just not with you on the surprise in price reduction lollukeyrid13 wrote:^ I agree

I agree with this. It was quite out there. That said, I don’t blame him for overshooting I guess.Craig wrote:The initial price for Dig was outrageous so I guess Im just not with you on the surprise in price reduction lollukeyrid13 wrote:^ I agree

Yup, I didn’t need to move him. Originally plan was to build around Bradley, Peja and Digs..pistolpetejr wrote:I agree with this. It was quite out there. Unless I was getting positive value, I didn’t plan to move him. I took negative value back for Big Dog but I got my pick back. So instead of being building a 1st round exit team, I got to build a losing roster now instead of next off season.
At this point with all my picks, late 20’s 1sts would be negative value for me. Kings pick is a risk. Yeah he was second seed but he also lost Spree for 3 rookies. So he needs to have a great TC.
Again I didn’t need to move Digbeu but Kings offered a fair deal.

don't understand doing a rebuild and then trading for Digbeu.
