If the ducks lose at home to Montana, Kent needs to be fired following the game.

never seen a group of basketball players play so uninspired. they aren't looking good this year. down 10 at half to montana at home? something's wrong here. pac 10 play is going to be quite the ass whooping if they continue this. the only players putting forth effort were singler and sims. maybe things will change in the second half? it's not hard to break a zone, but our "experienced" players aren't getting the job done.

WOW The talent on this team is better then they way they are playing. Kent is a terrible coach. Portland and Montana, give me a break. If the University keeps him around after this year then the $250 million dollar arena was just a waste of money because there will be a JV team playing in it!

Boooooooooooooooooooo. I think our team left for thanksgiving break before the game. Where was Porter tonight? Did Catron even play? Were was our supposed superstar Wilson? I thought the ducks would maybe lose 1 or 2 games before pac-10 play. Shame on me. What a joke.

Yeah losing to Montana at home is unacceptable. We have too much talent to even let these guys come within 20 points of us, let alone LOSE. I don't know what it is with this team. Obviously you have to look at Kent. That's where it all starts. He set up this incredibly weak out of conference schedule himself to rack up a good 9-10 wins & guess what? WE STILL CAN"T EVEN PUT TOGETHER A DECENT RECORD. Weakest schedule of all time & we're still gonna come out of it around .500.
We have a $250 MILLION arena opening up next year, I hope the University will be satisfied with it being empty. Either this team pulls it together & finishes in the top half of the pac10 or we get a new Head Coach. Those are the only options.

The said part is that a lot of fans on this board and Oregon fans in general don't seem to have much interest in duck basketball. I understand a lot of that had to do with the football program, but the basketball team underachieves almost every season and nothing is done about it. No more chances for Kent. No good season+no tourny=fired. A loss against Montana at home should count as 3 losses.

I cannot wait to hear the Kent apologist response to this game. Wasn't Montana like a tournament team... This is beyond a joke. Bellotti get some balls and fire Kent ASAP... I'm sick of this underachieving bull year after year after year. Why build a fancy new arena if no one will go?
