Junior running back and defensive back DeAndre Washington (Sugar Land, Texas/Fort Bend Marshall) is one of the quickest, most elusive prospects in the Houston area. Blessed with 4.45 speed and lateral quickness, the 5-foot-8, 173-pounder has been on the radar of college programs since his sophomore season.
"I'm being recruited by TCU, Oregon, Texas A&M, Houston and UCLA," said Washington. "There are a lot of schools sending me mail right now, all of the area schools. The top school that has been coming real hard lately is Oregon. They have been recruiting me pretty hard."
Washington was recently offered by a program in Kansas, but which one is still a mystery.

LSU is his childhood favorite team.

The 2011 class is still a little too far away for me to worry about. I'm just hoping we can fill this class with talent and meet our needs (aka GET A DT).

Tell that to Quizz!

In the past, I would have agreed. However, if there's anything that Quizz or LMJ taught me, it's that size doesn't have to hold you back!

Hmmm I wonder if this kid would still have us up there if it weren't for Lmcoolj? I mean he has shown that you will excel in this offense with speed and quickness.
Although i like to believe that lmcoolj has an it factor that all the other scouts in texas over looked. His vision and will to win are things that you cant teach.

backs of any shape seem to do well in this offense: LMJ and Blount (two blaringly different types of backs). I think a one two punch of a small quick back and a big power back would pose incredible challenges foropposing defenses. Hopefullywe can land some similar type backs to bolster our already intimidating running game!
