Richardson with an and-one to get them within 2 with 11 seconds left. Can't believe they're this close still.

Ducks lose 74-70 but boy was that an exciting game.

Hell of an effort tonight. Guys just wore down at the end. To be able to keep it that close with 2-3 guys on the floor at a time that are 0 offensive threat is impressive. Richardson showed a lot of encouraging signs. Ware keeps improving every game. They have a week now to hopefully get some guys healthy before the random early conference games, which I hate.

They've got a day off before taking on Villanova on Sunday in the 7th place game.

Ah, geez. I was hoping losing both games would preclude them from having to play another game in the tournament. Guess the ESPN was just slow to update and show that as the next game.

Really impressive effort from those guys. Seemed like with all the injuries, the expectations were low, pressure was off and guys like Will played a lot looser.

Also wonder if part of the issue is team make up too. As guys return it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out. Last night seemed to indicate the offense should run through Will and Ware, and having a bunch of mediocre players thinking they need shots, clogs up the offense.

I got to sit by Mookie Cook and his dad the whole game. Good chats! we could surely use him asap.

They could use any warm body at this point.

Maybe TK should suit up.
