Even without Dante playing, Oregon somehow managed to beat the Buffs. It was the perfect game for Bittle to turn in a career night and Guerrier to give them some scoring when they needed it. Barthelemy had another great game off the bench, especially with the other guards struggling in the first half. While their press handling nearly cost them the game, their strong FT shooting helped put it away late.
I think the whole community has given up. Rightfully so.
I hate to say it but the lack of interest may be why Mullens will want to move on from Altman, they can’t be losing a ton of money from the basketball team. I still think Altman will have through next season, but if the ducks are NIT bound at best this season and next, I won’t be surprised if Altman is forced to retire.
I don’t like Cousinard’s game. Lazy, mistake prone, and poor shooting decisions.
Thankfully, Bartholomey and Bittle had nice games. Oregon did play solid D on Colorado. It’d be nice to beat Utah to get a nice weekend sweep under the belt.
