Our basketball teams cannot buy a win nowadays

No points from PaoPao and her 3 point shooting has sunk this year.
If she transfers out at the end of the season, the #1 ranked recruiting class of a couple of years ago will be flushed out

This team is totally out of sync. Still they are projected as a 10 seed if they get in the tournament. They would have to win all3 remaining games and 1 in the PAC-12 tournament. Not going to happen. PaoPao could transfer. Gracie V., Phili, Chance Gray, and Basham are the future along with the new class. Injury kept Basham from playing much, but she is a talent. I just hope none of those 4 transfer. They all show superior talent at times, but can't consistently put it together as a team. With the solid incoming class, KG should be able to build a winner next year, though the PAC-12 will be tough as usual. This year 8 teams are predicted to be in NCAA tournament, if UO can get 18 wins.

Yep, the team was under-talented once Prince and Isai left. Then they psychology broke at the Stanford game.

I see little hope for a run. They would need PaoPao and Rogers to just go off and lead them to some upsets but Tehina's confidence appears shattered.

Oh well, WBB is one of my top 3 sports to watch and I set my expectations way down when Prince left, (just not this low). I'll be watching most for growth in Philli, Gray, Basham and GSV's games. That's three bigs a point guard and 2 shooters coming in next year but we'll need a combo or another point in the transfer pool and maybe a 6-4 or 6-5 power forward.

Parrish would have been a huge help this year but she hit the jackpot in her transfer. Got to go home and is solid contributor on the number 2 ranked team in the country.

Pretty sure I’d sit Paopao and let her be the 6th to come in and try to provide a spark. Sometimes sitting and watching can open your eyes. Also I’d sit Philli and go with a pressing quick team for long minutes. Definitely need a change if they’re going to have any chance to play in the dance. Especially against the wide bodied teams that we struggle so mightily with. Run ‘em ragged for a half. That has worked pretty well in spots but for some reason KG just suddenly abandones abandons that strategy too soon and let’s the other team catch their breath.

I agree that something needs shook up I'm just not sure what. The worse part in trying to come up with something is it's just not Tehina that is in a slump it's her backups too. Hanson and Herst are also in huge slumps and both of them rely almost exclusively on 3 point shooting to score. Neither is a good rebounder which is something Tehina has always been good at. If Grace is out with her ankle and Philli doesnt play 30 minutes we're left with an awful rebounding team.
