But Boyd will make his decision this weekend, & will let it be known on Monday in a press conference (time: tba).

I wonder if that will be televised? My guess would be no, but it would be exciting to watch even if he doesn't choose Oregon.

Too much hoopla if ya ask me....These kids are becoming so full of themselves that it is rediculous....
It seemed that those that were the most athletic when I was in school, ended up being some of the biggest failures in life. But then again, that was way before the Million Dollar contract days.....
Hopefully Boyd becomes a Duck, but if not...Well, tis the way it is...

I hate to say this (and I can't believe I'm saying this either), but Clemson might be the team to beat right now. Location could prove to be key in his decision. His little brother loved the Clemson coaches. :o

Thankfully, it'll all end Monday. Hopefully he picks the ducks! Come on Tajh, do the right thing.

I hope the best for the kid, but the sad thing about that choice is not only does he probably not develop as a QB as much, but he doesn't even get the better marketing education as a fall back.

What I cannot stand is parents getting in the way of what their kid really wants because of distance. Let your kids go and develop, grow as an individual as well as an athlete. Going across the country might actually help your kid in life in the future. I know that my parents just want me to be happy, and while I certainly respect my parents wishes and listen to their advice, I wouldn't have chosen a college just because they wanted me to go there. Will all due respect to Boyd's mom, this is his life and not yours.

I think Oregon has the most complete package out of the three schools. We have the academics, rehab facilities and possibly a chance at winning the NC in the next few years. Sounds promising to me...

Regardless of the school that Boyd eventually chooses, I have to applaud the fact that he and his parents are trying to be very careful and choose the best school (the balance of academics, athletics, competing for championships and utilizing his abilities) for him. I think that at this point it could go any way, but I hope that the Ducks wind up having that special something that he is looking for. Too bad he never saw a game in Autzen.

GO DUCKS!
