I think we’re fine at tackles but guard is certainly a question mark again. I’ll be very curious to see who starts at guard and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Harper lose his starting position. On top of that I think we need a solid backup LB as well.

With how the roster has improved each year since Lanning has taken over it does make me wonder how good it’ll be in a few years…..
I can't recall where I saw it, but somewhere around, I read that Harper was the "alpha" of the OL group. So, probably not getting displaced as a starter.

My biggest concern is who is the 3rd tackle (and heaven forbid 4th), followed by Bedford, followed by how Poncho and Gabriel gel. I think Strother is a solid guard off the bench.
That’s good to hear! Hopefully that means he’s improving.

I thought Bedford was playing guard instead of tackle? Did I misread it? Also if Strother doesn’t start are you thinking Iuli will start?

USC fans are now saying Harmon wasn't that good anyway and that Oregon way overpaid with Phil Knight money, blah blah blah.

My understanding is Phil Knight isnt contributing anything directly to NIL. He helped create the NIL collective using his resources, but the actual funding is coming from other donors with deep pockets.

Isn't this the same thing they have been saying for the last 20 years????

Having some experience with rich donors, I have noticed that they often get credit (or blame) for a lot more than they actually did. People like figureheads, especially if they can uncover something negative about them. Now every time a player goes to Oregon instead of USC, we can talk about little children making shoes in Asia somewhere. I also notice that many really rich donors don't give their money to everyday things. They often tend to save their ammo for stuff that can have a plaque in their honor attached to it so that the gift is recognized for longer. So it makes total sense to me that Uncle Phil would fund the apparatus rather than individual players.

Looks like Oregon might have Bryce Foster on campus. Saw some stuff on twitter about it.

Sounds like he’s been starter since day 1 but has had multiple injuries slowing him down the last couple years.

He’d be that final piece we really need!

I’d be happy to have him. But we don’t need a C. Poncho will be a 2nd day pick in 2026

We could certainly use the depth at C/G right now. Maybe Bryce could give Harper some competition at Guard.

Who are the best people to follow on Twitter for these kinds of Oregon updates?
Willie Taggart is a dick.

I saw he started at C, but also played guests. His biggest issue seems he gets hurt all the time.
