Wonder if DeBoer saw that Bama has no room in the secondary for him, or that talent was better, and didn’t want him. Ducks may have paid better tho, if that was the point. Glad to have him. Anyone have an assumed starting corner rotation with this addition (barring anther portal departure)?

This year, we had some safeties who were really good in the box supporting the run (Tysheem and Evan Williams) but not super strong coverage guys. Kobe Savage is an immediate upgrade to that. If the 5 starting DBs are

S - Savage
S - T Johnson
Nickel - Reed
CB - Florence
CB - Kam Alexander

Then my only question is how Kam compares to Khyree and that answer will tell us whether we'll be stronger or weaker in coverage in 2024.

Now add Jabbar to this and then how Spring Practices play out. It's certainly the kind of Secondary we'll need for our biggest games.
