He also just received Oregon prediction from on3/Fong and a 247/Loy. Mario is a great recruiter, but the narrative has been Oregon leading for a month or so now.

Some smoke around him perhaps announcing for LSU in 30 minutes... We'll see. Oregon pursuing #2 CB Offord is interesting and may be a signal for us swinging and missing here?
We'll find out soon!

LSU just got a prediction on on3. Not looking great for Ducks!

He's an LSU commit. Strange how nobody was focused on them for days and then they come out of nowhere in the last few hours. At least Oregon still has Brew and Finney at CB. Unless they flip him, Oregon's chances at the #1 class are probably gone.

There are rumors that #2 2025 CB Na'eem Offord may visit Oregon for SNL so things are far from settled at CB for Oregon.

Looks like Jonah Williams took notice of Oregon missing out on Pickett. He's been dealing with trolls who think Oregon is only under consideration because of NIL.
Can’t win them all, good pickup for LSU, hopefully Lanning can make a move for Offord who is pretty much equally ranked with Pickett, though I personally would take Pickett over Offord so this is still a bit disappointing.

Pickett may eventually end up at safety so if Oregon winds up with Brew, Finney, McNutt, and Williams this class, they're fine at both.

Gotcha, isn’t Pickett a freak athlete? From my perspective he’d be better than all of Oregon’s current secondary commits and any recruits they’re pursuing but I’m not super into recruiting these days. I’m wondering how big of a loss this is.

Not easy winning a top recruit from far away regions. In a article, it mentioned his family said how long of a trip it was to Oregon.
It does always hurt to lose a top recruit who was leaning towards Oregon. But im a little happy Mario didnt pluck him away.
If LSU lays a dud this season again, we d still have a chance with dj.
