Oregon already swung and missed on the #2, #5, and #6 Tight Ends... Why not take a shot at the #4 Tight End?

Ducks offered him, and 247 lists him as having some interest in Oregon (Despite being committed to Michigan)

Don't see them getting this guy either since he's from Pennsylvania. Amazing how Oregon has struck out at both TE and OT so far.

TE is interesting, makes you wonder if Mehringer needs to work on his recruiting skills, but I thought I heard this was a bad year for OL recruiting so I wonder if the coaching staff is planning on hitting the portal for OL, unless if I’m mistaken and this is a good OL class.

I mean being a finalist for 3 of the top 6 TEs in the country ain't terrible.. Cure wanted to be local and Brame wanted to follow his girlfriend. Hard to do a whole lot about that.

I think we swung for the elites and missed. We're a top team for a few of the top TEs next year. If we miss on all of them, then might be time to reassess Mehringer's recruiting skills.

Olesh is now officially visiting Oregon for their game against Huskies on Nov 30th weekend. That's a big deal.

No idea how true it is, but someone in X spaces said Kendre Harrison was going to reclassify to 2025. So take that with a grain of salt.

Also there were three recent 247 crystal balls submitted for Kendre Harrison to Oregon.

NIL aside, with new conference realignments, why would any elite player want to go to Kansas State and likely never make playoffs vs coming to Oregon with a solid chance of making playoffs each season. He'll be playing against much more elite talent as well.

If winning championships and going to NFL is the goal, then going into the Big Ten/SEC really is the smart decision.

Because he's from Kansas and the pull of being a star at a local school is a fantastic element of college sports.

But the fantastic element of college sports got killed with NIL and open transfer portal
