According to this guy, yes. I know Big Ten isn’t as strong as it typically is at the top, but I just don’t see Oregon evening finishing too 3 without Dante.

Oregon has an unusual number of blue-chip recruits who did not go one and done or hit the portal. If you believe in Altman's coaching ability, this the most veteran talent he has had in years. Also, they got a transfer Center from Georgetown to replace Dante:

"Cook spent just one season at Georgetown, playing the previous three years at Fairfield. During his year as a Hoya, he established himself as a reliable scorer and rebounder. Cook started in all 32 games last season, averaging 10.5 points per game and shooting 57.5% from the field. Cook also scored in double figures 17 times throughout the season."
