Ducks Attack Message Board Forum

I will always worry at least some about pretty much every Duck game, and this is certainly no exception -- it's just the kind of person I am. That said, it's hard for me to see Michigan beating the Ducks on Saturday. They simply don't appear to be very good. (And btw, I feel quite sure that nothing said on this board will affect the outcome of the game! )

I just (re-)watched much of the 2007 Ducks shellacking of Michigan at the Big House with Dixon at the helm on YouTube (readily available, along with condensed versions, under a "Oregon Michigan 2007" search). (Just breaks my heart to see just how terrific Dixon was as both a passer and a runner. I do think it's highly likely we would have seen both our first Heisman Trophy winner AND our first national championship had he stayed healthy.) I hadn't remembered how well Michigan moved the ball in the first half, accumulating over 300 yards. But the Ducks led 32-7 at the half, in part due to UM mistakes.

Even at home Michigan has struggled against bad teams. I'm gonna say they absolutely cover

I don't bet on sports, but it's hard to imagine Oregon not covering in this one. I think this will be like last season's Utah game.

I think the 14 point line is pretty solid. I wouldn't be shocked if we were within a few points of it.
