Lets see, play an 8 game conference schedule so you can play 4 cupcakes every year with one at the end of the year so everyone in conference gets a W instead of an L, while every other conference is playing a conference game. Start the year with half your conference ranked. Fake news is in sports too kids. Pad your strength of schedule with a win over an overrated fellow conference team. Put the majority of your games on eSECpn and non stop promote your conference. With only 8 conference games and 17 teams to chose from, the conference has done a really good job through the years of keeping the top teams from playing each other. Random scheduling? I've got some Rocky Mtn Property here in southern Georgia to sell you skiing, hiking folks.
Sound familiar SEC?

I'll give the SEC credit, getting espn and abc to push their product had to be one of the smartest moves in college sports

Another example of how the fake sports media works. This “expert” from eSECpn:
Heather Dinich: I would hesitate to eliminate a 3-loss SEC team from CFP Heather Dinich explains to Pat McAfee why the College Football Playoff committee could decide to keep a three-loss SEC team, such as Georgia if it loses to Tennessee.

8 teams in the top 25 for the SEC. Alabama, ole miss and south carolina lurking just outside of the playoffs to knock a 2 loss team ou?

ESPN can’t have the sec not getting 5 teams in. They own the playoffs, so their media will talk the sec up. They are the msnbc of the sec.
