8:30 to go. Denver 38, ATL 6. Bo 28-33, 308 yds, 4 TD. Tearing it up.

I love this. They actually had Penix in this game for Atlanta. Anyone think maybe they wished they had picked Bo instead?

Being completely honest, Bo wouldn't be doing this in most other offenses. The fit for him with Sean Payton is pretty damn seamless, not sure in Atlanta he'd be playing like this at all.

Herbert has been horrible in the second half.

His guys drop quite a few balls. He looked good to me.

There were some drops, but he looked bad. Threw 2 that should've been picked, missed a wide open McConkey for a first down, fumbled in the red zone. Throwing for under 50% isn't just a few drops

From Jeff Legwold of ESPN:

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix' historical day in Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons was good enough to win him AFC offensive player of the week honors. Nix finished 28-of-33 passing (84.8%) for 307 yards and four touchdowns -- a first-ever stat line for a rookie passer to clear 300 yards, have at least four touchdowns and more than 80% completions in a game.

. . . and no interceptions. A truly incredible 1-game stat line for any NFL QB.
