#1 - Ted Bundy was a Husky. It was not it poor taste. As the glorious legend Dave Chapelle has said, “these are JOKES people”.

What is in poor taste is that a meteor hasn’t hit that stupid, albeit beautiful, stadium. The real Mistake By The Lake.

Say what you want about Mario, but his postgame speech in 2021 about the “effing” (puppies) “representing everything wrong with college football” was spot on.

Eff them and eff their leathery-skinned Coach and his used-car salesman vibes. While we are at it eff Penix and eff DeBoer too.

I hope we hang a 70-burger on them and finally exorcise the demons of 2016.

I hope we beat them so bad that they cancel the football program and move Seattle’s open-air drug market to Husky Stadium.

I share your vitriol regarding all things UW. Back in the Neweasel era I posted a poll on a duck fan site asking folks to choose a) a cure for cancer, b) world peace, or c) UW football program gets the death penalty. C was the winner, and it was not close.

Just for some background to my hatred for the Fuskies. I went to almost every home game from 1968 until I left the state in 2005. I still can't get the taste out of my mouth from the home games with the Fuskies. They would completely fill 3 or 4 sections of Autzen. Their band played "Celebration" every time they scored (a lot) and they were loud and obnoxious and every damned one of them drove in the fast lane from Eugene to the Columbia. In 1972 I had a big brim hard hat (Weyerhaeuser) and painted HUCK THE FUSKIES across the back of it. I'm not claiming to have started that, but it was very early in the use of that phrase I did that. So HUCK THE FUSKIES!!!

Bundy may have been a Husky, but Diane Downs and Randall Wood field were Oregonians. Let us not be ridiculous regarding our distaste for the Huskies.

Anyone else feeling just slightly nervous about this one? After Ohio State we were nails against Purdue and Illinois. We kind of slept walked through Maryland before narrowly avoiding disaster at Wisconsin. So, are just a team in bad need of a bye, or are we a team that has already peaked? I think it’s the former, but recognize I could be wrong and it’s the later. There’s also been absolute silence about this game from the national CFB media. They’re going to have to bring their own juice for this one (and get some from Autzen). Bottom line I hope Dan does his magic and has them ready to tear some heads off. I think he will.

Also, they may be playing a mobile quarterback with almost no film. That could work in their favor, or be a disaster for them.

I'm nervous, because if the long long shot upset were to occur it would hurt more than losing to any other team on the schedule.

Williams has played in every game and usually at least one full series before any garbage time. There’s plenty of film on the few things he’s good at and the longer list of things he’s not.

Lake Oswego plays West Linn tomorrow for the "Open" Championship. Jake Normoyle OL for WL is going to OSU and Baron Naone TE is going to UW, both are 25 guys while Bell is 26. WL's Danny Wideman is their top WR and will play baseball for the Ducks.
