Should be a fun tournament. Planning to take off work early the next couple of days to drive over to MGM and catch the games. This is my substitute for no longer having the Pac-12 tourney in town for the next few years.
TaMU 32-29 at the half.
Oregon has shot more from beyond the arc in the first half 18 from 3 land to 11 from inside the arc. That may be the result of what the Aggies are doing defensively.
Ducks with a dismal 31% field goal shooting, and getting beat on the glass 22-19.
Ducks pull out win #6 on the season with an exceptional second half for an 80-70 win. A 16-0 run over 3+ minutes took a 10 point lead away from T&M to a 6 point lead for Oregon.
TJ Bamba led the Ducks in scoring with 18 points, while Jackson Shelstad and Brandon Angel each chipped in 16 points.
Ducks changed up their offense philosophy in the second half by only taking 7 shots from beyond the arc while taking 19 shots from inside and hitting 13 of them.
What a 2nd half for Oregon. Really thought they were going to get blown out after going down 10 with 10 minutes to play but then Oregon went on a major run fueled by their defense and some great team shooting. Angel, Bittle, Bamba, Shelstad, Tracey, and Evans all came up with big plays/shots to close that game out.
Wow! I left to go get my turkey, they were down 10; I come back and they won by 10. Serendipity! This is a team that beat Ohio State, so they are no slouch. Nice win, Ducks!
Great win! A newer version of the cardiac kids. Being down by double digits in the second half of these recent games, isn't a recipe for future success. When is Mookie supposed to be ready to go?
Seeing a trend here. Quality depth (about a half dozen or more veteran blue chippers) plus superior coaching equals clutch play down the stretch. I have no idea why this team is not ranked, although that will change if they win the next game (SD State hammered Creighton). Don't turn off the TV if UO trails in the second half.

Is he going to help much? Not being snarky, just haven't seen him play.
