I was not expecting that big of jump. They were like #35-37 in the previous polls so that's massive. Hopefully this gets people to attend the games this week as they open Big Ten play.

Beating Bama is SOOO good for our resume. Bama is gonna have one of the hardest SOS, and they already have quality wins. They'll be a top 10 team.

I have never liked to see the basketball team ranked in meaningless polls. Hopefully it isn't a distraction.

Frankly for their expectations, its probably best they learn to deal with it so its not an issue come spring-time. Our seeding will be grateful for it too
