Oregon 98 - Air Force Academy 36
Air Force was 9-1 prior to this game.
Most Impressive is that all 12 Ducks score. Phillipina Kyei leads Oregon with 14 points. Three other players in double digits.
Ducks shoot 59% and get 51 points from the bench.

Obviously a nice win, but I don't know what can be drawn from a game like this. At least it hopefully puts some confidence back into the team after it's loss at home to USC. One more tuneup (UC Riverside) before B1G Conference play begins in earnest late this month.

What was their tallest player? 6' 2"? Looked like a high school team out there.

So this team has a chance with any non-top 10 team depending on their 3 point shooting. In the 3 games they have lost they shot about 15% from 3. For the season they are at 29% but take out Deja Kelly and Ari Long and it's 33%; not great but acceptable.
Kelly who plays a great all around game is shooting 13.8% from 3 and has taken the 3rd most attempts. Kelly has never been a good 3 point shooter, usually about 29% every year but 14% is a major slump even for her.
Ari Long played her way into the rotation with a head turning performance against USC. Her per minute stats for the season are among the top 3 in steals, rebounds, points and blocks and the last 2 games she has a boat load of deflections and forced turnovers that don't show in the stats. I think her defense and all around game have come as a surprise, including to Graves. She came into UW as a top 50 recruit who put up 35 points per game in high school. But she is shooting 17% from 3 for the season. She also takes a lot of 3's per minute as she has a knack for getting good looks and has a quick smooth release but they aren't dropping.
So what does Graves do? I would put a yellow light on both of them in games that are going to be close but still give them good minutes because of their overall games. You still have 4 good to ok 3 point shooters (only had 1 last year) if you curb those two's 3 pt shot attempts.
